Privacy policy at 3PART

On 3PART’s web pages we use data collection in relation to users’ movement and interaction with the pages.

This privacy policy helps you explain what data 3PART collects during your journey on our sites, why we collect it and what we use it for.

We inform about this as 3PART is required to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into force on 25 May 2018.

PERSONAL INFORMATION - WHAT DO WE COLLECT AND WHY?

Our sites have functionality that can only work with the tracking technologies mentioned below. You can always turn off these technologies in your browser, or block them. However, be aware that without technologies like cookies, you may not be able to use all the features of the site.

MAILCHIMP

We use MailChimp to send out newsletters. When you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is registered on our mail list with MailChimp. If you have previously agreed to receive our newsletters, but no longer wish to subscribe, you can unsubscribe through this link.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics to capture user traffic on our pages. This data is collected in order to gain an insight into how users use and interact with our pages, as well as how they find the pages. This helps us improve the pages.

All data collected through Google Analytics is anonymized. This works through IP anonymization, which means that a specific user can never be directly identified. Read more about how Google anonymizes the user data here.

THIRD PARTY DATA PROCESSORS

We also use a number of third parties to process personal data. These third-party companies comply with all EU General Data Protection Act (GDPR).

HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

How long we keep your data depends on what we use it for. In Google Analytics cases, the data collected will be automatically deleted after 26 months. Compared to MailChimp, which we use to send out newsletters, data is not automatically deleted. However, you as a user can unsubscribe our newsletters, which will delete your data at MailChimp.

You can contact us at any time through the contact details below if you wish to have your data deleted (cf. GDPR’s “Right to access” and “Right to be forgotten”) and we will comply with this as soon as possible. How long it will take depends on what exactly you ask.

COOKIES

On our websites we use cookies. These cookies are used to determine whether a user is recurring or new, and to be able to follow a user’s progress on the page. These are cookies from WordPress, which delivers the CMS system to our pages, as well as our own cookies for displaying new mail popups.
