The development of the new beer box therefore achieves the following advantages over the known 30 boxes: 7 better use of both warehouses and logistics. The consumer gets a more handy packaging with several alternative options to carry the box and with the possibility to see the products from outside. Reduced weight per unit of sale for the benefit of consumers. The beer box is expected to have a lifespan of 15 to 20 years, and is in circulation 60 to 80 times. The total amount of packaging saved is considerable. The materials used for the box are HDPE, PE for softgrip handles and PET foil. At the end of the life, the box can be regranulated and the recycled PE mass can be recycled without separating the various elements of the box. It is thus environmentally friendly.
