The Difference Between User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI)
User Experience (UX) is about how a user experiences navigation, for example, on your website. Specifically, it’s the way the menu is structured, the way you navigate from A to B, and the placement of the various elements on the page.
User Interface (UI) is more about form and colors. It’s about the layout and design of your digital product. UX and UI often go hand in hand, as they overlap in many areas. Optimize Efficiency with Interfaces that Meet the HMI Standard ISA 101
There is a standard for HMI (human-machine interface) ISA 101. We always work with the knowledge from the standard when developing and optimizing interfaces and control panels. The HMI standard ISA 101 helps ensure that control panels can be used in sunlight, use the correct colors so that even colorblind people can navigate freely, and measure how much information you can have on each screen.
After a completed development process, we create a digital guide with rules of thumb so that internally in your company you can ensure that your control panel continues to meet the standard if you build a new page or add an extra function to the system. We can also develop a design manual if there is a need for a more in-depth description that also addresses the company’s identity.
